Production Case of QT8‑15C Automatic Hollow Brick Making Machine (Focus on Hollow Blocks)

Project Overview

Machine Model: QT8‑15C Automatic Hollow Brick Making Machine

Main Product: Concrete hollow blocks

Raw‑material Formula: River sand, crushed stone, stone dust and cement. Fly ash, tailings, recycled construction aggregate and other solid‑waste materials are acceptable. Non‑fired production, finished by open‑air natural curing.

Production Capacity: 8 hollow blocks per mould. Molding cycle: 15‑20 seconds. Output: 11500‑13800 hollow blocks within an 8‑hour shift. Pallet size: 1100×700mm. Equipped with automatic feeding, hydraulic vibration forming, auto‑discharging and stacking system to reduce labor workload.

Production‑line Configuration: QT8‑15C main forming unit, batching‑mixing system, aggregate bin, belt conveyor, hydraulic station, PLC intelligent control cabinet. Rated hydraulic pressure: 16‑21MPa, integrated table vibration with powerful exciting force.

Project Position: Large‑scale building‑material block‑production project. Light‑weight hollow blocks with good heat‑insulation and sound‑insulation performance are widely used for non‑load‑bearing partition walls of residential buildings, rural houses and boundary‑wall construction. Hollow block is the core product; solid blocks, porous blocks, pavers and slope‑protection blocks can be produced by changing moulds.

Site Introduction

The whole production‑line layout is compact. QT8‑15C adopts table‑type high‑frequency vibration plus hydraulic pressing. Mixed raw‑materials are evenly fed into hollow‑block moulds. Low‑frequency vibration during feeding and high‑frequency compaction ensures full material filling inside cavities, delivering neat holes and uniform wall‑thickness.

Well‑shaped hollow blocks are demoulded after compaction, without hole‑collapse or surface defects. Fresh wet blocks on pallets are transported to the open‑air curing yard and stacked neatly for 7‑10‑day natural curing until strength requirements are reached.

3‑4 workers are assigned for raw‑material inspection, line monitoring, pallet handling and finished‑block stacking. Hollow‑block mould is permanently installed for continuous mass‑production.

Advantages for Hollow‑Block Production

1. Stable hollow‑block quality with low reject rate of collapsed holes.

Segmented vibration mode guarantees sufficient material filling. Hollow blocks feature neat cavities and consistent wall‑thickness, meeting local building standards.

2. High‑output capacity for bulk hollow‑block orders from large brick plants.

8 hollow‑blocks per cycle provides sufficient output for large‑scale brick factories to satisfy massive wall‑material orders.

3. Wide raw‑material adaptability to lower production cost.

Local sand, stone and industrial solid waste can be used directly, cutting long‑distance transportation expenses.

4. Heavy‑duty frame supports long‑time continuous hollow‑block manufacturing.

Robust machine frame and reliable PLC control enable long‑hour stable production, perfectly suitable for hollow‑block‑oriented brick plants.

5. Flexible multi‑product capability.

Quick mould replacement supports solid blocks, paving blocks and other products for market‑oriented production adjustment.

Customer Feedback

After commissioning, the hollow‑block qualification rate keeps above 95%. The QT8‑15C production‑line runs stably with high forming efficiency. Finished hollow‑blocks have excellent thermal‑insulation and sound‑insulation performance, enjoying stable market demand for residential construction. The client considers QT8‑15C a cost‑effective high‑capacity hollow‑block production solution with great labor‑saving benefits.
